Hmmmm, well I guess I can say that this is SPARTA!! *bricked*
Well, well, well, what do we have here? yet ANOTHER one of these 8D. Yes it is another one but this one has a double purpose; to put up some new art and I'll be using this for my upcoming media pack assignment at my uni so I thought I'd treat you guys to have a look.
I waaaaaaaas going to upload the spreads of my magazine assignment that I did but I'm sure you guys wouldn't want to see that? (You can convince me otherwise if you want me to put it up.)
Now, I haven't forgotten what I still need to do for those I owe art commitments, just been locked down with these assignments. I sh*t you not, I get no holidays at all and the assignments come one after the other like rain! So for those that think I'm being slack with those I owe stuff, please DO NOT worry, I'm still on them like a hawk (if that makes sense? :S)
Like I said, this is for my uni assignment so I'll be going into dormancy again after uploading this, unless of course you guys bug me enough to not
Now, the drawing...
I'm actually proud of this one, considering that I only spent like two days on this. This is also the first picture I've coloured using Paint Tool SAI.
recommended to me that if I want to produce crisp lineart, SAI is the way to go to produce awesome results. So after uni, I downloaded and then bought a software license for it (it was a lot more cheaper than I had thought) and started playing with the tools on it and then opened up echono from photoshop because he was already half way coloured.
Ironically though, I didn't make the lineart on SAI, I originally sketched this, cleaned it up and started colouring it on photoshop and then did the shading on SAI, and then back onto photoshop for the final touches. I also made the original lineart lighter to make it look not so 'rough'.
Anyways, I'm really happy with the outcome, I hope everyone else thinks the same.
Oh, and when I finished it, I compared it to the VERY FIRST Echono I drew up and omg, what a friggin' difference. But then again, of course it's different, it was bloody 6 years ago XD.
